Is this because I started physically on runway but am still in Taxi Mode? Smith calls out Landing Light shouldn't when on runway, then immediately after turning off says you should have it on when on the runway. The run-up logic is generic unlike those for the detail packs (c172 and c208) and as a result it does not look for carb-heat, and also has to settle for a general notion of 'at-least-one-mag-checked'.
